Welcome to the Van forums. This site is intended to catalogue information related to all years and models of Van.

We just got this site underway a couple of days ago and look forward to meeting other Van enthusiasts and expanding the site and our knowledge of Vans. Feel free to post in the forums, add you favorite web links to the links directory, and your pictures and multimedia to the Media directory.

In case your wondering, I first grew found of vans myself while watching my dad work on his 60's Dodge van back in the early 70's. I have since owed a couple myself and presently own a 1990 Chevy Mark III conversion van.

If you want to contact me with concerns of suggestions for the site feel free to use this link: contact, or click the contact link in the main manu and send me a message. I will do my best to answer you as quickly as possible.

Enjoy the site  :)

Hello David & other members!  Looks like this could be a cool forum.

I've owned several older vehicles over the years, like a 1972 Datsun 240Z, a 1975 Buick Electra 2dr Ltd. (one of the longest productions cars GM ever made, with the 455 engine) and plenty of beater cars.

Recentely I've gotten interested in late 60's Chevy vans, and happened upon this site. Looks like I'm getting in at the ground floor!   Once I learn enough, I'm going to buy a project van.  My main debate thus far is whether to find a rough one, and customize it, or try to find a really clean survivor, and restore it to near original condition.  I'm leaning toward finding one that needs fixed up (I guess they all do at this age anyway lol) and start with modifying the powertrain.  I'm thinking v8  8)

The picture I have posted is of a 'rat rod' 1967 G10 Sportvan that I found on the web.  I may be in the minority by saying this, but I have to admit, I like the look.

Good luck with the van once you get it, I hope you keep us posted. I like my conversion van but I would trade it for a classic any day :)
