Suspension problem

2005 Chrysler Town and Country  6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 83600 miles

I also had a noisy front end when I hit a bump.  I found it to be sway bar bushings.  The bushing that are used with the brackets connecting the swaybar to the body.  I had replaced them just three years ago, so I had all but ruled them out at first.  I inspected everything else in the front end but could not find a faulty part.  I finally decided for what it would cost me to replace the bushings, and and since I was doing the work my self, I would only be out of $15.00 and a few hours of my time.  When I got under the van and took a closer look at the bushings, I noticed that the ends of the bushings were away from the swaybar about the thickness of a piece of newspaper.  When you are inspecting the bushing, it should look like it is made to the swaybar. (Tightly pressed against it)   Once I took the bushings out, I could clearly the bushings were out of round.  Though they were purchased from a Chrysler Dealership, they still wore out far too soon.  I noticed the replacement bushings did not close tightly round the bar until i put the brackets on them.  there was no space between them and the bar.   The problem is now solved.
