Electrical problem

2001 Chrysler Town and Country  6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 168000 miles

Our van was in a front end accident on the passengerside and since it was repaired the red dot lite on the dash comes on andthe van will not stay running . if you wait 15 to 20 mins. it some times will start. the owners manual told us what the lite as for. is there any way to just unhook the theft system.
