Chrysler Town and Country Repair Question :: 2007 Chrysler Town and Country  No power to the instrument c

Electrical problem

2007 Chrysler Town and Country  6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I shorted out my trailer wire harness by accidentally catching it in the trunk latch. The instrument cluster now has no power. No gauges or lights.  I don't know why the two are related, but they happened at the same time.

I could not find the expected inst fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Reading the manual, it is not addressed. So... is there a fuse/breaker/fusable link that I need to replace or reset for the instrument cluster... or is it a bigger issue?

I looked everywhere I could think of with no-joy. I also disconnected the battery for a while hoping that a computer reset may help the issue. Nope.

Please advise, if you have any idea.
