Electrical problem

2001 Chrysler Town and Country  6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 230000 miles

Yesterday error code 622 apeared on the car along with the battery light.  but the battery light went off.

Today the light came on again, and a few minutes later the dashboard started flicking on and off, and the wipers started on their own, and the indicator stared to tick.

Car got really sluggish but I managed to get it home.

now the battery is seriously low, and the Break, abs and airbag symbols are light on the dashboard.

I think it may be an alternator, but why would the wipers start if its the alternator, could it be the PCM
