Chrysler Town and Country Repair Question :: 2000 Chrysler Town and Country  warning ring with brake appl

Noises problem

2000 Chrysler Town and Country  6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 143000 miles

my car started giving me the oil light indicator along with a warning signal (sounds like the warning when the door is open and keys are in ignition) when I would apply the brakes.  I have always changed my oil every 3,000 miles.  It usually would quit when I applied acceleration but now is staying on even when I accelerate.  The guy who changes my oil said it was a sensor going out.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
