Engine Cooling problem

1999 Chrysler Town and Country  6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 102000 miles

I have a chrystler town and country with a 3.8. My question is There is a hose that came of and It is a 5/8 hose that says heater hose.  it goes from a location just under the thermostat to down by the water pump.  the fitting that it would go over by the water pump is missing so there isn't anything to slide the hose over and tighten it down to on the water pump.  can you tell me what this fitting is or how I replace it, is a screw in or pressed in?
